In most situations, you really want and need support from family and friends when starting your weight loss program to help you lose your fat. But as we all know, there is always some negative gremlin out there, set to suck the life blood right out of you. You need to be aware of these saboteurs and steer clear of them or at least, pay no attention to them.
This negativity should not bother you, nor get you to lose sight of your weight loss goal. During your weight loss program, you will need to strengthen your willpower and resist those that may come between you and your goal. Reaching specific milestones will help you stay motivated and will continue to help you lose your fat and establish a healthier lifestyle.
What Causes People To Do This?
Human nature? You bet. People will feel threatened by your weight loss changes, especially those close to you such as siblings and close friends. remember, you will be straying from your normal daily activity and this is true of the most effective diet plans. Given the choice, most people will not change their routine. In order for you to accomplish your weight loss goal and lose your fat, you will need to dismiss their jealousy. Your family and friends may not deliberately sabotage your weight loss plan.
I know this from personal experience. For my weight loss plan, I decided to take the running route and train for my first marathon. Needless to say, I was surprised when I could not get any family or friends to even come out of their homes to watch me run a nearby race. Funny thing is that they got over it and I was able to lose my fat with a healthier lifestyle. The most effective diet will help you get though these tough times.
Watch For The Weight Loss Clues.? Some of these may seem funny or childish, but they are clues.
Clue # 1: They Offer You Non-Healthy Snacks
Again, this may not be deliberate, just normal routine, so you will need to be mindful of any comments you make. Many of these foods may have been your previous favorite or personal cravings, but certainly part of any weight loss plan. Remember, watching what they ate was a big factor in how successful dieter’s lost weight fast and the number one aspect of the most effective diet plans.
Clue # 2: Comments With A Negative Tone
When I announced my weight loss plan, that I was going to lose my fat, the comments started.? First with a smile and a simple oh. Comments may then turn to such as “You will never reach your goals” or may even say something like “Why change who you are?”
Clue # 3: When They Catch You Sneaking A Treat
You will find family and friends paying closer attention to your every weight loss habits and because they are not following your plan, they do not know when you get a day to treat yourself.
Clue # 4: Criticizing Your Every Step
Again, you will find them taking stabs at you about your workouts, making statements like “Oh, you should not be working out that much” or “Starving yourself is not good”. These are all comments made when they do not understand your weight loss goals.
Wow, now what? In trying to lose your fat, you have started to alienate your family and friends…so what. Becoming healthier and making changes to your everyday life is a necessary evil of the most effective diet plan. You will need to do your best in ignoring their comments and sticking to your program. After all, your happiness is most important and if family and friends do not understand, that is just too bad. Good luck in with weight loss plan.
